I am originally from Iron River, Michigan. I moved to the St. Paul area after graduating from Northern Michigan University with a degree in computer networking.  I later earned my teaching license in language and communication arts and a master's degree from the college of St. Scholastica. In my younger years, I worked as a camp counselor for six years at the Iron County Youth Camp in Iron River, Michigan, and spent my formative years enjoying the outdoors. My free time is spent rooting for the Minnesota United Loons, Saint Paul Saints, and any other sporting event my kids will let me drag them to.
